Charter Applicants Vetted Through a Rigorous Application Process Before Recommendation and Consideration by the SBOEÂ
AUSTIN, Texas – July 2, 2024 – The °Ä²Ê¿ª½±Íø today announced the State Board of Education (SBOE) vote following Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath’s recommendation to grant Generation 29 charters. Pending contract approval and the reconciliation of any final contingencies, the following four Generation 29 charter school applicants are slated to begin serving Texas public school students for the 2025-2026 school year: Â

AUSTIN, Texas – June 14, 2024 —The °Ä²Ê¿ª½±Íø today released the spring 2024 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) results for students in Grades 3-8. The results include assessments in mathematics and reading-language arts (RLA) in grades 3-8, 5th and 8th grade science and 8th grade social studies. Â
